Judicial Liaison - Bankruptcy Courts

As you may already know, the Business Law Section retreat will be held over Labor Day weekend in 2007.  Traditionally, the Bankruptcy Judicial Liaison Committee meets the first afternoon of the retreat.  Many of the members have indicated that it would be easier on them and their families if the meeting were scheduled on Saturday afternoon instead.  Please let me know if you object to rescheduling our meeting to Saturday at 1:30 p.m.  If I do not hear any objections by December 1,2006, I will ask Austin to change the meeting to Saturday.  

Another issue that has been raised is whether we should meet at the summer meeting of the Florida bar (this year I believe it will begin June 28, 2007 in Orlando). I would appreciate you views on this issue also.

Finally, our next meeting shall be on January 17,2007,  at the Miami Downtown Hyatt at 4:00 p.m. with dinner to follow at the Capital Grill.  Please e-mail me any agenda items at your earliest connivence.
